The FT Sea Otter brings the sea into the storm... and the sky surprisingly too.

Told with Flite Test guys words: »This plane is Otter-ly amazing!«. The Sea Otter takes perfectly off from water, snow and even from the ground. Like all the designs from the FT designer Peter »Mad Scientist« Sripol, the Sea Otteris something different from the other models. The Otter is suitable for pilots without experience who want to have an hydroplane. It may not be the very first model for the most people. This airplane has exciting flight capabilities and looks simply great from the water.

The kit

The Sea Otter is made naturally of the surprising, water-resistant FT Foam Board. This foam board is light and strong and can be painted and sprayed as you prefere. In the package are included 4 long push rods, one firewall, 4 wood skewers, 4 control horns, 2 wood sticks and velcro.

Recommended Accessories

For this Flite Test model we recommend a 6-channel transmitter, e.g. the Graupner mz-12. You gain maximum range and controll using the GR-12 receiver. Benefit from the favourable price of the Radio Control Set mz-12 with the GR-12L (No. S1002.12). The ESC Brushless Control SBEC with Telemetrie (No. 33718.XT60), completed with four digital Servos DES 281 (No. 7905) perfectly fit this model. Gain the maximum performance using the Brushless Motor ULTRA 2812 (No. S7056) and a 10 x 5 S-Prop (No. 2944.10X5). More recommendations below.
